텍스트언어학적 방법론을 사용한 문학 번역비평 연구 －『아큐정전(阿Q正傳)』 한역본의 번역양상을 중심으로
국문요약 현재까지의 문학작품 번역비평이 지나치게 형식에 집착하거나, 과도하게 주관적 으로 평가하는 두 가지 특징이 있고, 이 두 가지 비평방식은 모두 문제가 있다고 본다. 뿐만 아니라 번역분석 단계에서 간혹 원작과 대조분석을 통한 오류분석에서 벗어날 수 없는 문제 점도 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 감안하여 본고는 번역 텍스트에 대한 분석을 새로운 접근방식 을 시도하고자 하였다. 즉 텍스트언어학적 접근을 통해 기존의 단편적인 원문 텍스트와 번역 텍스트의 대조 분석에서 벗어나 텍스트성의 일곱 가지 기준을 적용시킴으로써 보다 결실 있 는 번역비평을 추구한 것이다. 본 연구는 번역 텍스트를 원작과 비교하여 분석할 때 텍스트언 어학적 방법론을 사용하여, 텍스트 중심 번역을 추구하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 본고에서 아 Q정전의 세 가지 한역본에 대한 비평적 텍스트 분석을 통해 원작과 대조분석을 통한 오류분 석의 문제점을 보완하였다. 이처럼 텍스트언어학적 방법론을 사용한 번역비평 연구는 기존의 없었던 시도이며 보다 구체적이고 생산적인 번역비평으로 나아간다는 점에서 중요한 가치를 가질 수 있다.
A Study on the Literary Translation Criticism by Using Text Linguistic Methodology －Focusing on the Translation Aspects of the 『The True Story of Ah Q』
There are two characteristics of literary work translation criticism up to now, either excessively obsessed with form or excessively subjective evaluation, and both methods of criticism have problems. In addition, in the translation analysis stage, there is a problem that sometimes cannot escape from error analysis through the original work and contrast analysis. In consideration of these problems, this paper attempted a new approach to analysis of translated texts. In other words, it seeks more fruitful translation criticism by applying the seven criteria of textuality, deviating from the contrast analysis between the existing fragmentary original text and the translated text through a text linguistic approach. The purpose of this study is to pursue text-oriented translation by using a text-linguistic methodology when analyzing translated texts compared with the original works. In this paper, through critical text analysis of the three Korean translations of literary canon The True Story of Ah Q, the problem of error analysis through contrast analysis with the original work was supplemented. And translation criticism research using text linguistic methodology is an unprecedented attempt and can have important value in that it moves toward more specific and productive translation criticism.
